[STATE OF SOUND] New Artists Soundcast #23: We Know We’ll Probably Fall Apart Edition
STATE OF SOUND is a Sights and Sounds feature where I select new electronically focused bands of stratospheric level quality that’ve been hanging around the periphery of the blogopshere’s vision (just waiting to be discovered). THIS TIME: Never been afraid of the fall apart. But bandages give me hives. Make me search for scalpels. High, low. I wish, high. Shred the sutures. Seconds of relief and then there’s this cyclone coming out my jugular. I always forget. World’s so slo-mo, and I’m out of control. I put chains on the door. Keep myself in. But I always find a way to go on the run. Even when I’m down on my knees, I’ll find a way to walk on my arms.
