Taking on Kideko‘s bass/house floor-filler “The Jam” this week is London based DubRocca, who laces it with plenty of his own flavours in an official remix. Released through Ultra Music, DubRocca takes it into a vibey deep house direction, ensuring those all important vocals (taken from Technotronic’s 90’s smasher “Pump Up The Jam”, get all the attention they deserve.

As someone who has just won the “Best New DJ” Award at this year’s Bass Music Awards, it’s clear DubRocca is here to stay. This rework sees him load up the bass line with lashings of groove and establish some infectious riffs that work themselves cleverly around the melody.
