Laidback Luke’s label, Mixmash, have just dropped their latest EP and one track has really grabbed our attention. Released 25^th May, “Luv Light” sees DBN collaborating with Oni Sky and producing a deeper take on the more electro-leaning house that’s always going to be a party starter.

It’s a vocal-led track and Oni Sky doesn’t deliver them in a forced way at all, simply letting the beat get you moving and giving you a hook to keep coming back for. We’re really feeling the dynamic percussion that’s added to and stripped back throughout, as well as the mixture of flowing basslines and more glitchy FX surrounding them.

If you’re being a little critical you could ask for a bit more variation in the second half but then again, if you’re asking for that, maybe house isn’t for you! If there’s a track you’re guaranteed to be hearing on the boat parties at festivals like Dimensions and Horizon this year, it’s gonna be this. Nab it here.
