When Maximono first surfaced, the project was a blend of two passionate souls, Nick and Sebi, engrossed in the rhythmic laboratories of London’s studios. Without a formal blueprint, their emerging sound found favor among DJ circles, accelerating them into a whirlwind of global tours and memorable moments in rave caves, festivals, and even cruise ships. However, the departure of Nick in 2018 ushered in a period of reflection for Sebi. Holding onto the spirit of Maximono as he navigated his software business, as a solo artist Sebi continued to produce under the moniker, passionately pouring his soul into the project while he deeply tried to recreate and bring the true spirit behind it back to life.

This introspection has manifested into The Outtakes, an intimate 12-track album, chronicling their unreleased compositions. This farewell treasure trove includes heavily requested tracks that fans will globally cherish. Melding genres such as drum & bass, hip hop, funk and even trap – the bass music veteran mixes these elements like a true alchemist. Maximono’s formula of kinetic house music delivers a spontaneous blend of thoughtful and eclectic beats. Collaborating with the likes Malaa, Mat.Joe, and Marten Hørger, The Outtakes chronicles Maximono’s legacy, which stands a true example to limitless innovation.
