To no surprise, Willie Nelson is on the road yet again.

This time, however, he’s decided to bring a few friends along. Last Friday, the cultural icon stopped by Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Tinley Park as part of his third annual Outlaw Music Festival tour. Despite featuring lineups which vary date to date, the fest’s eighth stop surely didn’t fall short. A stacked lineup (which featured Lissie, Dawes, Old Crow Medicine Show, Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, and legendary Grateful Dead bassist, Phil Lesh) gave fans every reason to ditch work and enter the venue for the fest’s 12 pm start.

Outlaw Music Festival organizers have succeeded in curating a unique and diverse concert experience for their goers. With past lineups which have included the likes of Van Morrison and Neil Young, the festival gives fans a chance to catch both legendary and contemporary acts at an affordable price point.
