Released worldwide this week is the debut single from dance producer Investo. Having spent several years working within house and tech house, he now moves over to electro-fuelled progressive house. Enlisting one of the biggest female vocalists in the scene for “A Place To Go” isn’t a bad place to start, which is what Investo has done in getting Tara McDonald to feature on the single. Building layers and textures from the start, melodic piano riffs come into play alongside a steadily rhythmical beat. Driving and dramatic, McDonald’s vocals take this track to a surging climax.
