I hope you’ve had the chance to catch French producer Madeon‘s track “Icarus” by now. It’s a beautiful synth-driven track that moves and mellows at the same time. It’s no wonder it caught the ear of New York singer Collin McLoughlin, who added his own beautiful vocals over the top.

“I wrote, edited, recorded and arranged [this new version] in my bedroom late last week,” McLoughlin says. “I really love Madeon’s work and wanted to create uplifting lyrics that fit with the original Icarus story in Greek mythology.”

The end product is nothing but pure EDM magic that sets the perfect mood for the upcoming summer nights. Collin does a great job showcasing his vocals while still keeping the original feel of the track in tact. Check it out below and let me know what you think in the comments section.
