Following a year-long hiatus and a massive branding overhaul, American duo Focus Fire, Christian Ellison and Zack Morgan, is back in a big way. Though comprised of Christian Ellison and Zack Morgan, the giant robot GAR-E (Giant Audio Relay Engine) is the focus of their brand, providing the inspiration for their aggressive and hard-hitting sound. You’ll hear the story of GAR-E plastered throughout Focus Fire’s episodic releases, telling the overarching tale of the pair’s derivation. With their newest single release, Focus Fire provides a melodic twist on one of the most recognizable dance music songs of all-time Flux Pavilion’s “I Can’t Stop.” Their take is a harmonious, semi-nostalgic future bass-influenced vibe that fuses together dulcet and edgy elements with grace and ease.

In reference to the single release, the duo had to say, “Both of us are huge Flux fans! He’s one of the “Dons of Dubstep” in our opinion and while nothing can ever compare to the original “I Can’t Stop” we wanted to try to give it our own flare. We took the signature sounds and redesigned them in our own light while also adding lots of new elements commonly heard throughout the Focus Fire universe. Shoutout to Flux for making a record that can stand the test of time, we can only hope our remix did it justice.”
