Lil’ Wayne’s upcoming album The Carter IV, the follow up album to 2008’s biggest seller The Carter III, was originally set to release the day he got out of Ryker’s Prison. Universal just announced they are pushing the release date back again, this time to August 29th. While we still have  a couple months to wait for another massive album drop, Lil’ Wayne is back to his normal (albeit sober) self with Dear Anne, his part 2 to Eminem’s “Stan.” Lil’ Wayne raps about his biggest fan, Anne, over a Swizz Beatz produced track. This song won’t make the album, but it’s still great to see Lil’ Wayne spitting his lyrical genius again.
