It’s been an exciting year for collaborations so far, with everyone from Kygo and Selena Gomez and Zedd and Alessia Cara releasing stellar dance pop fusions, to Jax Jones and Demi Lovato cranking out a huge summer banger with their freshly released jam Instruction, but things may get even more exciting as one of pop’s biggest legends, Kylie Minogue, has worked with British hitmaker, Sigala on her supposed ‘comeback’ single. The 24 year-old producer, known for such hits as Easy Love, Give Me Your Love, and recently released Came Here For Love (he’s all about love, it seems) has recently spoken to Britain’s The Sun revealing that the track has “a Spinning Around vibe” and “Sounds throwback but it needs to sound modern as well to take Kylie’s career forward.” “I’m influenced by the Nineties so it makes sense for me to work with her,” he added. The track is also rumored to be inspired by the singer’s messy breakup with actor Joshua Sasse, who supposedly cheated on Kylie with his costar on the now cancelled TV show, No Tomorrow.

There’s no set release date for the already recorded track; however, Kylie has signaled that she is ready for a musical return by appearing on Stuart Price‘s side project Zoot Woman‘s track Still Feels Like The First Time, taken from the album Absence. The gentle electronica may not be something that Kylie is known for, but she’s never been shy from experimenting or occasionally completely deviating from her trademark dance pop sound (Where The Wild Roses Grow being the prime example).

Stuart Price, who previously produced one of Kylie’s best albums to date Aphrodite, first teased the collaboration all the way back in July 2016. Many fans of the talented and very accomplished producer (aka The Thin White Duke, Les Rythmes Digitales, Paper Faces, Man With Guitar) and Kylie have probably given up on its release or have completely forgotten about it, but nevertheless, it is finally here. Listen to the hypnotic tune highlighted by Kylie’s sensual vocals below!
