Rainy days have me feeling a certain kind of way.

Chilled, yet carrying the potential energy of an ocean.

Welcome to The Daily Swim, a running series on The Sights and Sounds. As a lifelong swimmer, water has always served as a dichotomy to my psyche – wholly and unswervingly calming in it’s vast simplicity yet at the same time able to harness and create massive amounts of energy. Which is exactly the type of music The Daily Swim will feature – no fuss posts with tracks from great artists that serve as both calming and energizing to get you through the deep end of your day.

Good days to stay indoors, but when life is calling you out will you go?

Turn the lights down low in the morning and make sure the coffee is hot.

OR…

Find that cozy book store or coffee shop and watch as the hyperlape of life flows around you.

What gives you more energy?

Like the wax and wane of Seppie and Lazcaux‘s latest collab, the chilled and the energetic go hand in hand.

The question is, how will you guide that energy?

To go out or to stay in, that is the question.
