You know that feeling you get when you find a $20 bill on the ground? That sense of, “Holy Shit! It’s my lucky day! How has no one else stumbled upon this great find just lying here on the ground?” At which point you usually stop into the nearest pub for a round of shots. That’s exactly the feeling I had (sans the shots) when reading through my inbox the other day, at which point I stumbled upon a submission of Point Point‘s sublimely chilled single, “Life In Grey”.

Comprised of four underground Parisian producers with names like AAZAR, DEVOTED.TO.GOD, L’HOMME AUX 4 LETTRES and NOMÄK, Point Point has all the makings to create aural bliss. For those familiar with Cashmere Cat, Point Point will make for a perfect addition to your musical library. “Life In Grey” is especially sultry with it’s deep, pulsing synth lines and syncopated vocal chops. Oh, and that eerily upbeat piano solo near the finish? Pure genius. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve listened to this track in the last couple days, but I can tell you it’s a lot.
