It’s truly been a pleasure getting acquainted with The Knocks over the last three years. Not just with their insanely catchy remixes, dance floor perfect jams, and groovy bass lines, but also with the duo behind the name – James “JPatt” Patterson and Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner. Two beyond talented individuals who have kept a humble aire about them, even as The Knocks are about to strike in a big way.
With the release of their debut EP, Comfortable, just a few days away, we’ve already been treated to two upbeat singles in “Comfortable” and “The One,” featuring X Ambassadors and Sneaky Sound System, respectively. Now the NY duo has dropped yet another tasty dance selection from the release, this time featuring Ra Ra Riot‘s Wes Miles. A slick, bouncy number, “Savior” mixes ever popular electronic elements with the indie-rockers vocals to create a sound that won’t soon detach from your brain. Check out the single below and watch for their new EP, Comfortable, on February 17th via Neon Gold (or hit up the presale for a limited edition vinyl here.)
