It seemed a natural selection for me to feature this track in my first piece as part of The Sight & Sounds family; my love for writing and my fascination for this artist is what got me here in the first place. I’m not a biased music fan. I’m not the kind of groupie to simply chase after a one hit wonder because it’s the season trend. I know there are plenty of reviews launched in the past week after the release of this track in full length but after hearing Sailor & I’s Acoustic Release of this track I was once again entranced by his capacity to make me pause and stop whatever I was doing and focus only on the beauty that is creation.

This song in its original form was already perfect in my ears. The remix though, has created an entire new experience. This track belongs in a totally different playlist, to be heard in a complete different moment and to express and project a different variety of emotions. The instrumental uprise makes me feel like putting my running shoes on at sunrise. As soon as the vocals start I’m reminded of why I fell in love with this track in the first place and that now I’m being given the chance to fall in love all over again. Falling in love, isn’t that the best part? The goose bumps you feel when your loved one is near, the smile you get plastered on your face as soon as you think of them, the feeling of wanting to spend every moment of the day with the subject of your affections… That’s how I feel every time I find a track like this and now I get the chance to feel the sugar rush not only twice with this brilliant remix but three times with it’s acoustic release.

Sailor & I may keep us waiting for his material, but the wait is well worth it. Turn Around is composed with exquisite instrumental arrangements that give you the feeling of sitting in between 30 orchestras, heavy enough to overwhelm your senses but light enough to flow beautifully. This track leaves nothing left to be desired and yet allows other artists and DJ’s to feel free to modify and integrate into their personal sets. Musical Ecstasy.
