Released a couple of weeks back on Huxley’s ‘Saints & Sonnets’ label, Three Bar has officially dropped his debut EP, “Groove On.” As an up and coming producer who has already received support from the likes of Skream and Route 94, this creatively minded young talent certainly displays his talent with the three-track collection.

Adding in various unique elements to the standard deep house formula, expect to hear thick-cut drum patterns, uncontrollable vocal stabs and dominant rhythms throughout. Whilst the title track maintains a blend of organ interjections and a weighty sub bass, ‘Now I Know’ takes things a little bumpier, pumping the melody full of chord changes. Finally, ‘Movin’ rounds off proceedings – with more vocal stabs alongside a hefty, developing beat.

This EP is a great sign of what is to come from Three Bar. Fresh, dynamic and straying from the norm, “Groove On” definitely stands out. Grab yourself a copy here.
