Forever keeping things exciting, beloved psydub duo Desert Dwellers recently united some of the finest names in conscious electronic music for their Giant Consciousness remixes collaboration. The EP features six uniquely distinct remixes which each lend their own interpretation to the original “One Giant Consciousness” track. The song was first developed in 2020 for Paul Stamets’ film One Giant Consciousness that celebrates his work as a pioneer of mycology research and advocacy in the 21st century.

Out now on Desert Dwellers’ esteemed Desert Trax label, the EP is an amalgamation of tribal, psychedelic, global bass, psydub, leftfield, and ambient sounds. The remix EP features a group of the finest artists in global electronic music today, Hibernation, Nanosphere, Equanimous & Skysia and Desert Trax artists Gumi and Tylepathy. As a whole, One Giant Consciousness can best be described as a shape-shifting journey chock-full of deep grooves, mesmerizing atmospheric beats, soothing basslines, and layers of psychedelia.
