Dropping today on Never Say Die Records, Belgian dubstep star Eptic brings his brand new six-track EP, “The End”.

This collection really showcases the versatility of the young producer, bringing to the table an eclectic array of musical genres. The opening track, “Dimension 7” keeps Eptic at bay within his familiar dubstep surroundings. The prolonged introduction works well as an opener for the EP as a whole, building sufficient excitement before the track drops into a filthy synth led drop.

“Level Midnight” settles at a house tempo, yet still with the recognizable synths. This makes for an interesting combination and it’s pulled off with ease. “Death” switches things back with another dubstep bomb, and uses interesting melodic ideas to give it plenty of flavour and kick. A little hip-hop is represented through “She”, a slow groover with mellow synths moving you through the track. Next up is “The End”, and Eptic has taken it even heavier for this one. Aggressive sixteenth synths power through, as the track drops in a storm of energy.

The EP is brought to a close with a fantastic remix of “Dimension 7” from drum and bass producer Sub Zero – a perfect round off to a simply epic EP. You can purchase a copy here.
