[DUBSTEP] Zomboy – “Resurrected”
With the likes of MUST DIE! and Dillon Francis opening the remixes, it comes as no surprise that the “Resurrected” album is one of the most eagerly anticipated albums of the summer. Dropping through his home of Never Say Die Records this eleven-track collection is set to do some serious damage around the underground and festival main stages.
Zomboy kicks off the “Resurrected” sound with an overwhelming title track, packed with euphoric highs and the dirtiest of drops. Dillon Francis follows, adding his experimental moombahton sound to ‘Nuclear’, dominated by rolling hats and an infectious lead melody. The dubstep is still ever so present throughout, with MUST DIE! and Barely Alive keeping a slow stepping groove flowing alongside the dark industrial sounds. Zomboy then enters once more as the sounds of The Prototypes drain away and another broken synth begins the climb to a wild drop to close to the show with “Back Once Again”.
