The Sights and Sounds is excited to share a snippet of the latest single “Funk” from DJ/Producer Sleepy Cat, one of our favorite emerging artists out of the L.A.M.P. crew in Los Angeles. Released as a part of the Kolombo Secret Weapons compilation album on LouLou Records, this compilation of 14 tracks is made to burn all dance floors with artists from all over the world.

Sleepy Cat has seen a strong start to the first half of 2015 with the release of 2 incredible originals ‘On & On‘ and ‘You Got To‘ on LAMP. He follows them up with an absolute dance floor smash in ‘Funk’ getting full support from their label boss Kolombo and many others.

‘Funk’ delivers such a unique bass line that words cannot describe. Tight percussion layering and a bouncy rhythm make it tough to stand still, and each buildup has a distinct drop that provides a healthy variety to the overall composition of the track.
