Consequence of Sound reports that Eminem, Beyoncé, and The Weeknd will headline the festival’s 19th edition in 2018. The leak comes ahead of the Coachella’s official lineup announcement in early January. The reported headliners have divided festival vets and pop enthusiasts alike, and marks the first time in the festival’s history a rock band has not headlined. None of the leaked headliners have ever headlined the festival before, with The Weeknd being the only artist to ever have been officially billed (2015). Beyoncé made guest appearances at both the 2010 and 2014 editions of the festival — first during Jay Z’s set and then four years later during Solange — while Eminem appeared during Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre’s legendary 2012 set.
