Summer Camp Music Festival Releases Their First Round Lineup & It’s… Interesting
The first part of the Summer Camp Lineup for 2018 has just been released,
and we can’t help but think that 1 of these headliners is not like others.
Taking place over Memorial Day Weekend at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL, Summer Camp Music Festival has become a staple season opener for festival goers in the Midwest.
With the release of their 1st round of artists comes the general excitement and buzz that generally surrounds festie season.
However, we can’t help but look at this lineup and think that 1 of the 4 headliners announced feels a little… out of place?
With headlining acts from moe., Umphrey’s Mcgee, and Phil Lesh, that Diplo guy feels a little funky. But hey, who am I to judge? Maybe he started a jam band?
I realize there are 2 more rounds of artists to go, so Diplo won’t feel so out of place. And either way, check out those supporting acts – there are tons of incredible names to choose from such as Mija, Lettuce, Beats Antique, The Funk Hunters, & more.
Who are you excited to see? Who would you like to see on the lineup?
