It’s a pretty cliche thing to fly off into the sunset, bound for adventures unknown as the credits slowly roll on the journey you left behind. It’s also a pretty fucking liberating thing, and whether you’re a fan of cliches or not, it’s a feeling a lot of people pine for. And as I woke up, lucky to see the setting sun over the Swiss Alps on my flight home, I felt more sure that that burning globe of fire would forever be the guiding light toward my next adrenaline rush, perpetually chasing the elusiveness of ‘living life to the fullest’. But shit, maybe I’m one of the lucky ones.

And as I sat, all too uncomfortably in the forever contracting spaces of seat 34C, peering over the snow-capped peaks of some far-away European landscape, it was LA-based SNBRN‘s soaring mix of “Unbreakable” that lay waste to my travel weary ear buds. As the vocals lifted our plane into the clouds – the bouncing synth giving the atmosphere a slight turbulence – Dirty South‘s single transported my mind across the expansive Earth below and I was transfixed, awe struck at the ability of a song to keep me perpetually floating in a single moment, suspended as I soaked in the sights that lay before me. For those of you who like to get lost in the moment and drowned in the beauty that surrounds you, SNBRN’s mix of “Unbreakable” is not one to pass up. Enjoy it below.
