I’m going to start by saying that I absolutely love this song. It’s been a while since I’ve been drawn into a song right from the first note like this. But that’s the feeling I got when I listened Los Angeles based The Peach Kings’ new single, “Thieves and Kings.” With Paige Wood and Steven ‘Dies’ Trezevant filling out the duo, the couple makes raunchy, violent rock music with help of Steven’s grungy guitar riffs and Paige’s sexually deviant vocals.
Flashing guns and whiskey drinking abound in the video premiere that accompanies the song. Reminiscent of the Bonnie and Clyde era, the video was shot by photographer/videographer Paul Trillo amid the backdrop of a deserted Western town. It’s defintely not one you want to miss, so check it out below. The Peach Kings are currently gearing up for a tour around the West Coast beginning in December. You can check out the dates when they are released via the band’s Twitter.
