Hot new release from New York beats producer Gramatik, just in time for your Saturday. This was actually released last night and received some pretty great feedback in such a short time, rising to #10 on the Hypem charts within a couple hours. The track has some great sound and I’m just reveling in the funky bass and the 70’s beat cop feel that emanates from it. Oh yeah, the saxophone is deadly sexy, too. “In My City” is actually a remix of his original “In My Hood,” but was re-mixed for the big screens. Gramatik’s reason for re-producing the track:

“I made an updated, richer version of ‘In My Hood’ from SB1, because it got licensed for this movie: From the Rough.”
