With anxious anticipation and eager excitement, the countdown to Electric Forest festival is officially underway.

Less than 30 days remain until the festival’s annual celebration in Rothbury, Michigan- The event takes place from June 27th-June 30th. There are many events to choose from this summer, but Electric Forest is absolutely unmissable.

It is often referred to as the festival with the best vibes, and there is certainly a special energy and magic to the event that makes it such a cherished experience.

Electric Forest is undoubtedly the most aesthetically stunning and beautiful festival in the country. A walk through Electric Forest is so stimulating that it becomes an otherworldly playground for it’s attendees. Hundreds of colorful lit up trees pepper the grounds with specially curated art and installations scattered throughout the venue.

The incredible stages grow in size and design each year and crowds flock in and out of a thousand different worlds as they wander and choose their own adventures. Tickets to the event have already sold out without hesitation. It has been trimmed from two weekends down to one this year, and the lineup is massive and carefully curated.

For example, If you look past the main stages, you may just find a giant string band playing at The Hanger tent or an after hours bass DJ playing the silent disco. Three days of The String Cheese Incident carry on the festival’s tradition while many newer acts get a chance to play the forest simultaneously.

Headliners include Claude Vonstroke, Alison Wonderland, Gramatik, Bob Moses, Snails, The Floozies, and STS9. Other acts to look out for include Defunk, Escapade (Walker + Royce and Ardalan), Omnom, Ivy Lab, Sacha Robotti, Spafford, Dr. Fresch, The Funk Hunters, SNBRN, Charles The First, and so many more.

The best part about Electric Forest is the amount of attention and intention the team that produces it gives to the details. From the design of the venue to the themes of the workshops and special programs onsite- Insomniac is on top of the design of the experience overall. Notably, the event has special camping areas for sober attendees and a whole focused project on supporting women called “Her Forest”.
