Oscar Del Amor Releases Emotional & Poignant Album ‘If Love’
Los Angeles based producer Oscar Del Amor recently released If Love, an explosive future bass journey replete with playful pop melodies, jazz influences, and more. The album feels like a classic electronic record with seamless transitions from some of the poppier songs like “In Between Classes” and “Belcalis Every Weekend” to deeper tracks like “Heart Bleeding.” One of the best features of If Love is the incredible vocals which include the supremely talented Jaki Nelson’s bouncy and fun feature on “So Long” and Shanna Gilfix on the celestial and transportal “Breathe Inside Me.” If Love ends with a stripped down acoustic version of “In Between Classes,” which has a 1990s alternative rock type of feel.
Oscar had this to say in reference to the release of If Love, “Since about 2018 I had been working on If Love in between my other production projects. About halfway through I decided on the theme, mood, and vibe for the record. It has started to feel this is going to be my last Oscar Del Amor album so that made it a really emotional goodbye and very nostalgic for me. I hope it gives you guys the warm fuzzies I got while making the record.”
