Click play and kick back as MR PUZL takes us on a ride through wide open spaces rich with deep house, low end jazz melodies, growling bass, soulful vocal samples, and subtle tech house tracks that have been some of the recent favorites of MR PUZL. He selected an interesting and diverse collection of songs that are dance floor cuts from Odesza, Atlas Boda, Dusky, Gorgon City, and more!

The set is mixed supremely well, with fluid transitions and seamless vibes all running into one another, creating a great snapshot of what is not only influencing what PUZL creates, but also what dance music in general is creating at the moment, especially in LA. This is the 41st edition of the ongoing series released by L.A. dance floor maven LAMP, otherwise known as the Los Angeles Music Project.

Don’t let the name fool you, this isn’t a project in the same sense that your 7th grade science fair was a project. This is more than a project, it is the culmination and realization of what the future sound of dance music and electronic music is. They are definitely ahead of the curve. The mixes and releases that they put out are some of the grooviest in LA and in the global dance music scene. They are a label, a blog, and an exceptional curator of quality producers, DJs, composers, and artists. Keep an eye out for LAMP folks, they’re undoubtedly “lighting” the way.
