The emergence of Panorama, owned by Coachella producer Goldenvoice, begged the question “Can NYC support two music festivals?” So far, both Panorama and The Governor’s Ball 2017 lineups have us thinking maybe it can. The bill features headliners Frank Ocean, Solange, Alt-J, Tame Impala, A Tribe Called Quest, and Nine Inch Nails.
The unique curation of the festival’s lineup is accented by AEG’s dynamic production value. It is clear that the festival is making strides, especially through programming, towards placing themselves among the best of the best in the festival industry.
Recently, the festival announced the addition of “The Point,” a shaded, misted, dance party with continuous house and techno music all day and night. Much like Panorama’s original lineup release, the point features a diverse bill of techno and house talent that will keep you grooving into the AM. The curated side bill features acts Motor City Drum Ensemble, Derrick Carter, and Theo Parrish to name a few.
