Two groups who made my top 20 best tracks list for 2013, NY duo The Knocks and rock troupe X Ambassadors have teamed up for a slick as winter’s ice single titled “Comfortable”. Deep and funky, The Knocks’ JPatt and B-Roc lay down an uber dancey backdrop while X Ambassadors’ upbeat vocals make it feel like we’re out on the open water gearing up for a swanky yacht party under the sun. Thanks group, for helping me waylay my winter blues for at least a few minutes.

The Knocks’ EP, Comfortable, is out via Neon Gold on limited edition vinyl on February 18. Still a couple weeks away, we’ve been eagerly anticipating this one for a while, so until then enjoy “Comfortable” below.
