Born Clyde Sergio Narain in 1978, DJ/Producer sensation Chuckie started out experimenting with music at the ripe age of thirteen. Hailing from The Netherlands, home to other great EDM names such as Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, and Tiesto, he started out perfecting his craft playing at parties for friends and family. Influenced by a variety of musical genres and styles he is largely responsible for creating the house subgenre known as “Dutch House,” or more commonly referred to as “Dirty Dutch,” characterized by complex percussion and drum beats, dramatic buildups and often, high-pitched beeps and synths.

In 2009, after years of DJ’ing, producing, and working with house heavy-hitters such as R3hab, Sidney Samson, and the aforementioned Afrojack and Hardwell, Chuckie began to garner some major mainstream attention with his remix of LMFAO 2008 hit “I’m In Miami Bitch” which mashed-up with his 2008 hit “Let The Bass Kick” was retitled to “Let The Bass Kick In Miami Bitch.” The remixed version outperformed LMFAO’s original becoming more popular internationally and peaking in the top ten on the UK Singles chart. More original tracks and remixes followed for the likes of Ron Carroll, Joachim Garraud, Bob Sinclar, and David Guetta leading to the creation of one of the most exciting and innovative careers in EDM today.

In 2011, together with long-time collaborator and Latin House expert Gregor Salto, Chuckie created a dance hit of monstrous proportions conquering Miami and Ibiza and no doubt, the subject of the track itself, entitled “What Happens In Vegas.” If you haven’t heard it, chances are you haven’t been to a club in a good two to three years.

Catch Chuckie spin at North Coast Music Festival on Saturday, September 1st, on the Red Bull Stage at 7:00 PM! If you love high energy hands-in-the-air crowd pleasing house music, this is a complete can’t-miss!
