I always enjoy a song that starts off with snaps. It usually leads to an amazing track that forces your body up from where it was and helps to loosen the mood. In other words, play this song and people will dance, and maybe we’ll all get along! Yes, this is the true power of disco, mixed with a little current elecro-pop vibes. Sam Willows, otherwise known as Avenue, is the Toronto-based, 19-year old producer making these groove-centric tunes. In only a couple years, he’s released only 3 tracks on his Soundcloud page, but each and every one of them is solid, and easily ready for consistent repetition. Currently managed by Bedlam Music Group, he’s sure to be taken care of, as he is alongside other artists in their roster such as City and Colour, Alexisonfire, Say Yes, and Moneen, just to name a few. I’m really looking forward to hearing what else he’s got in store for us this summer, but I’m sure of one thing, you’ll move to it, you’ll cruise to it, and most importantly, so will everyone else around you.
