Imagine Dragons has done a lot of work for the rock genre this year, keeping the sounds alive in the top 40 for an area of music that’s dominated by EDM and pop hits. However, their dub-rock smash “Radioactive” turned a lot of heads with the incorporation of electronic elements into their grimy guitar riffs and soaring vocals. While the track hasn’t seen as many remixes as some of the other top 40 rock songs of the past – read Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” – there are a couple out there worth listening to.

One of those remixes comes from New York DJ/producer dBerrie, who gives us an electro-house remix of “Radioactive” that’s suitable for dance floors everywhere. The track begins strong before backing off to allow the vocals to set the pace for a dramatic buildup and drop. As it turns out, the vocals lend itself nicely for playing around with the ebb and flow of the hook and drop, as dBerrie does well not to barrage the listener with too much, too fast.
