I just happened to come across Carousel today, and what a great find! Carousel is an electro-indie group based out of Boston, MA and currently consists of Jackson Phillips (synth/vocals), Kevin Friedman (guitar/vocals), and Tyler Cratcha (synth/vocals). I don’t know much more about this group other than I was instantly hooked within the first 10 seconds of listening to “Where Have You Gone.” Carousel has an amazing dreamy-electro pop sound that reminds of a bit of Miike Snow and M83. Check out “Where Have You Gone” below as well as another recent track of theirs: “Open Road.”
