Krewella + Fall Out Boy? Not a combination I was expecting as I was waking up this morning, but like a good cup of coffee, it was a great way to kick start my day with some high energy sounds. Taking FOB’s single “Along Together,” the Get Wet trio have injected the punk track with some big room melodic synths, energetic vocal chops, and an upbeat drum n bass feel to round out the remix nicely. I was a bit skeptical coming into this remix, thinking it might just be another over-produced, over-commercialized sound made for the masses. That’s not necessarily the case though, and the final product is full of soaring melodies that will help lift your day to new heights.
