Quick Mix. A no fuss curation of superb, long-format mixes so you can get straight to the music you love.

What does meditation sound like to you? Modern ŌM is on a sonic journey to find out, through an artist centered series titled The Future Of Meditation. I’m seriously stoked to have stumbled onto the first episode as the series is just getting started – as their journey progresses through each mix, so does my life. A continual dance with balance, ritual, and spontaneity; feminine and masculine.

Volume 1 finds us on a journey inward with LA native Brandon Ernst, “through lush soundscapes from the valleys of India to the mountains of Tibet, exploring the intention of ‘expression’.” As humans, all of us possess the innate desire to create and express freely in our lives – without fear of judgement, retaliation, and subjugation. While I enjoy the freedom to express myself through the sounds and words in this article, others do not. “This mix was created with the intention that all of us find the courage to always express ourselves freely and authentically, without fear and in our truth!”

“Recently, Modern ŌM asked me to kick off their Future of Meditation Mix Series by creating a sound journey rooted in the intention of “Expression.” Their founder Myk Likhov asked me, “What does meditation sound like to you?” This mix was created with the intention that we connect to our authentic selves with ease and that we express our truths without fear, free from judgement from ourselves or others! This is what meditation sounds like to me! <3 Many Blessings!" -Brandon Ernst Follow The Future Of Meditation series here.
