Universal Sweden and Svenska Inspelningar have just unleashed a fine new remix from Ji Nilsson. The Swede reworked “Roads To Rome” from Breakup, an act who is certainly on the way up.
Nilsson is primarily a singer/songwriter and the way she has crafted her edit shows how capable she is of utilizing a melody in the best way possible. Using those soaring vocals to great effect, Nilsson chops up some of the rhythms and puts a slinky R&B underneath it.
