In probably their most important release to date, Brisbane based electro duo drop their brand new eleven track LP. Slop Rock aren’t strangers to the scene and have had a hugely promising couple of years – creating five original tracks and fifteen remixes in that time. They have also seen increased DJ demand of late, and have opened for both Tommy Trash and Steve Aoki.

“Synergy” has been released via VELCRO, the Australian dance label, and it appears to suit their sound very well. There is plenty of variety on the LP, but the overriding sense of energy and passion is a constant theme. Whilst they are to drop follow up single “Make It Right” on September 9th, there are several tracks on there that could standalone. The stunning vocals of Ethan Thompson really make “These Few Heartbeats”, whilst the hip hop-fused sounds of “You Got That” cut an infectious rhythm and vibe. The title track is as dynamic and fiery as you might expect, this time featuring Blissando.
