There are few things I truly love in this world. Tame Impala, the city of Detroit, and Dirtybird records. Ever since seeing Claude Von Stroke play at Movement Festival in Detroit I was hooked. This year the Dirtybird head honcho is bringing his self established BBQ dance party back to Detroit.

Booty shakers will be coming from far and wide to spend hours dancing and eating Slowes BBQ. Normally a day long event, the Detroit edition will take place over two days on Belle Isle, a small island park situated halfway between Detroit and Windsor. Shiba San, Justin Martin, J Phlip, Kill Frenzy, and Ardalan will all be there to support the Birdman himself. Check out Shiba San’s mix from the Seattle BBQ below.
