The Knocks‘ new single “Modern Hearts” featuring St. Lucia made a big splash when it first hit the blogosphere a few weeks back. With any great track you’re bound to get remixes that follow, whether that be via remix EP or unofficially in the basement of some producers apartment. In the case of “Modern Hearts” we get the latter, which usually means a good number of solid remixes. And New York producer Fareoh does not disappoint with his chilled out dubstep take on the single. An upbeat intro is soon brought to a halftime halt with some great feeling downtempo bass that compliments St. Lucia’s vocals nicely.
