Sick new remix coming out of LA from producer/DJ Betatraxx taking on The Joy Formidable‘s “Cholla” off their upcoming Wolf’s Law EP. Starting off a bit slower, Betatraxx features the Welsh alt/rock band’s vocals with some underlying synths before pushing the track into some serious syncopated electro riffs. The hard-edged electro chords are a nice juxtapose to the airier, less solid formed vocals on top. You can compare with the original, rock-heavy version of “Cholla” below while waiting for the release of Wolf’s Law, which is expected sometime in January. Enjoy!
