Major Lazer is back, sans Switch, with a massive new track featuring non other than UK dubstep sensation, Flux Pavilion, with “Jah No Partial.” Part Jamaican roots reggae, part electro infused chords, and topped with a bit of dubstep makes for one banging track. Sampling Johnny Osbourne’s ”Mr. Marshall,” Diplo tries hard to bring that original Major Lazer sound, but it still feels like something is missing without Switch on the boards. But if there is any slack to pick up, Flux Pavilion smashes any doubt with his hard hitting bass guaranteed to blow speakers. Major Lazer’s upcoming album, Free the Universe, is set for a February 19th release date, so until then you can enjoy the lyric video for “Jah No Partial” below.
