Last week we posted new music from RAC coming off a new remix album that I am very much looking forward to. Aptly titled Verve Remixed: The First Ladies, the album will carry mixes from some of EDM’s biggest talent of classic songs from the first ladies of jazz music.

Today we get a huge new release off the album coming from none other than Bassnectar with his booming, bottom heavy remix of Nina Simone‘s “Feeling Good.” Bassnectar absolutely slays the mix, injecting dark and ominous bass and synth all over the classic production. But fear not, lover of classics, Bassnectar does well not to betray the original grit of the track as his deep sounds only serve to enhance Nina’s vocals and the big band tones of the original.
