What a dreary day in Chicago. It’s days like this that I’m thankful for the ability to morph into a bear and hibernate indoors. It’s days like this that also make me immensely thankful for great music that turn banks of fog and skies of rain into piercing rays of sunshine and dancing fairies (metaphorically, of course. I’m not tripping balls). So it goes with one of the UK’s best kept dance secrets, Special Features. Of course, he won’t be a secret much longer after his stellar 2013 year, remixing big name artists such as The Aston Shuffle and Ellie Goulding.

Now the UK artist returns with his 2014 debut remix of Flight Facilities‘ “I Didn’t Believe” featuring the vocals of Elizabeth Rose. Refreshing and full of disco-infused house sounds, Special Features leans on old school Daft Punk sensibilities to inject “I Didn’t Believe” with energizing up-tempo rhythms, layered melodies, and a pulsing, side-chained synth line that will have you moving in no time.
