It’s time for me to re-introduce you to someone. Say hello to Haydn Hoffman, a young southern California rising star in the electro/dubhouse scene. Haydn recently gave us a sick Datsik and Excision remix, followed by a house pounding, panty dropping mix of Avicii’s “Levels,” and now Haydn has dropped his new Take Me Home EP, chalk full of dirty, dirty dubstep drops and fist pumping house beats. Add the amazing vocals of Ella Seren and Jason Webber, and you have an EP that sounds like it came from a seasoned veteran of the genre. Not that I’m saying Haydn hasn’t put in his dues, but he is still young compared to some of the electro-house touring giants on the scene right now.  As it goes, I’m not too worried about the So-Cal native after listening to the EP mini-mix. My favorite track on the EP has to be the subtle-yet-in-your-face “Nocturnal.” The kid has some obvious talent and I can’t wait to hear what he comes out with next.

Take Me Home EP will be available on Beatport October 11 via Temple Music Group and all other major digital retailers October 25th.
