It’s true when they say things are better in pairs. Double your pleasure, double your fun. right? And who isn’t down for a two way any day? So when I saw this pair of hot ticket producers’ names in one title, I couldn’t hit play fast enough. Two of my favorites in electronic music at the moment, Wave Racer and Ryan Hemsworth are causing a stir with their genre bending new sounds.

This remix of Hemsworth’s “Ryan Must Be Destroyed” is a perfect example of that new school sound that I can’t get enough of. Blending a mix of stabbing, summery synths and syncopated trap with a hint of hip-hop, Wave Racer creates a bouncy new vibe that I like to call “Kangaroo Trap”. The predominantly Australian upbringing of this new sound has nothing to do with the name – wink wink.
