Icona Pop, the femmes responsible for the massively upbeat and popular radio hit “I Love It” (sans Charli XCX writing) are back with a taste of what’s to come next for the duo with the Top 40 friendly, electro-pop single “Girlfriend.” The poppy new track, while a good pick for your summer playlist, feels a little canned for me with nothing especially standout on the track.
