We may have had to wait till July for a true Summer Anthem for 2016, but Louis The Child & Icona Pop have finally delivered it to us. While this track is full of Pop and not something I typically write about, that is what makes an anthem. You see in order for something that defines the combination of  a time and a large group of people as one feeling. Pop, while some claim to hate it, is inevitably catchy. Maybe this is why some listeners of more underground music hate Pop music so much, it’s because they don’t like that they like it. I mean we have all been there, you hear a track on the radio and later you find yourself humming its catchy chorus in your head.

This track embodies that pop anthem mentality without you feeling bad for loving the track. Louis the Child and Icona Pop have teamed up to create a Summer Anthem you can love guilt free. The track helps to define a generation of kids who don’t have any direction besides enjoy your time while you can.
