Happy #TBT everyone! I admit I don’t use the hashtag as much as some of the other crazies out there, obsessed with sharing bygone pictures of their youth, but I will use it to highlight a track that was released a couple weeks ago. Two weeks ago today, electro-funk star GRiZ dropped a funky piece of old-school sound, aptly titled “Throwback”. Laced with bouncy synths, retro vocoder vocals, hip-hop beats and some some sexy sax, the Detroit producer throws all the ingredients into the mix for this release, giving the track a slightly different feel than we’re used to, but one that is still 100% all-beef GRiZ.
