With honeyed melodies and a thoughtful disposition of vocals, Jai Wolf’s new single featuring Chelsea Jade came in hot this week. “Lost” climbed to the tops of iTunes’ electronic charts just days after being dropped.

The track’s upbeat charm pleases respective listeners in an inspiring way. I couldn’t hold back a smile during my first-listen, so I’m happy to share this sweet song here with you on The Sights and Sounds.

“Chelsea and I wrote this song as sort of an anthem for a generation of kids who feel disillusioned by the world around them”, Jai Wolf states.

“Feeling lost is something that never necessarily goes away. Even when you might think you’ve found your way, your perspective might shift and you may feel lost again. This song is about that cycle and our desire to escape it. This song is also special to me because it is the perfect bridge between my old music and where I want to go next.”

Jai Wolf had a minor production break while he focused on the performance aspect of artistry life. “Lost” is his first release in 16 months, following the fan-favorite “Starlight” single. While he has a few remaining tour stops until November, his shift back into curating sounds leaves us wanting more new work from the 26-year-old legend.
