It’s that time of the year again. The time where the leaves begin turning colors, the weather starts to change, and the mood of music marks the advancing of seasons; from bright, poppy summer songs to the mellow, windy city Chicago falls. Hailing from upcoming jazz/hip-hop/all-genres-really band Kids These Days, comes a new single from Nico Segal featuring Vic Mensa entitled “Clear Eyes.” In the video, Vic does some lyrical grinding over the smooth jazz trumpet laid down by Nico, and together with the cinematography, it brings back this feeling of nostalgia for me. Featuring sights from around Chicago, the video also features some cool tilt shift video work by Austin Vesely of Elephilms. Check it out.
